First Aid Responder Services

ASSIST First Aid have been involved in the provision of professional First Aid Services to small, medium and and major sporting and community events throughout Queensland since 2005.

ASSIST First Aid has had extensive experience in the practice and demonstration of first aid procedures through the coverage services program and prides itself with hands on knowledge of first aid.

ASSIST First Aid Responders providing services at events are experienced, appropriately trained and competent to the level of Advanced First Aid and Sport and Community First Aid in line with the National Health Training Packages. and are covered under a combined Medical Malpractice & Public Liability Insurance.

ASSIST First aid responders role is to provide a primary point for triage, initiating treatment of any first aid injuries/illness to both competitors and patrons throughout the event along with referral to definitive care when the injury/illness presents beyond the First Aid Responders scope of practice.

ASSIST First Aid acknowledges its role as part of a continuum of a greater network of response, emergency and medical services that will be present at events, liaising with Event Management, First Aid coordinators, Doctor's, Royal Flying Doctors, Paramedics, Physiotherapist, Security Services, Police, Ambulance, State Emergency Services, Surf Life Savers and Volunteers.

ASSIST First Aid provides medical communications, First Aid Tents, First Aid Supplies, On Course Scooters and Mountain Bikes when and where required at any event.
