ASSIST First Aid Training..

ASSIST First Aid Training is a Registered Training Organisation (32022) offering a suite of nationally recognised and accredited first aid courses. All courses have been developed to comply with the recommendations of the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and are peer reviewed and governed by individuals who represent teh lead professions which are driving quality evidence based research and practices i.e. Doctors, Parametics and Sports Medicine Professionals.

Here at ASSIST our aim is to make all your first aid training needs as simple and concise as possible whilst maintaining the conditions and standards from the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) which assures nationally consistent, high-quality training and assessment services for the clients of Australia’s vocational education and training system. In addition, ASSIST First Aid follows recommendations from the Australian Resuscitation Guidelines 2003 whilst reviewing regular updates. Revised guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation were released in December 2010.

ASSIST First Aid is versatile with its training modes and can easily come to your workplace for training that suits your business needs or alternatively we have a number of training venues that can facilitate the courses. All our Trainers and Assessors are fully qualified and experienced in first aid and they endeavour to make the training sessions as practical as possible in a bid to make the experience enjoyable and knowledgeable.

ASSIST First Aid believes that each participant should be filled with a more throughout understanding of first aid so that if and when an incident occurs they can manage it with confidence and know what they did was providing the best possible outcome for the person/s involved.

ASSIST First Aid have been involved in the provision of professional first aid services to small, medium and major sporting and community events throughout South East Queensland for over 7 years, and more recently Central and North Queensland. Therefore, ASSIST First Aid has had extensive experience in the practice and demonstration of first aid procedures and is able to convey these valuable skills to the participants in a first aid course.
