ASSIST First Aid is complying with Australian Governing Authorities regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. Our company has implemented our own safety precautions by limiting our class size and CPR manikin use, sterilisation before and after each class, and access to antibacterial hand gel. Upon arrival, all students will be asked if they have travelled in the last 14 days and ask to practice regular hand sanitation. If you are feeling unwell please reschedule your booking. SISSSPT307A Conduct Advanced Taping

PRICE: $80

Conduct Advanced Taping describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge to apply taping and bracing techniques including knee joints, Achilles, shoulders and elbows to assist athletes in relation to ongoing injury prevention and post-injury support. This unit applies to personnel working autonomously as sports trainers who are responsible for performing pre- and post-event taping as part of providing injury prevention and treatment for athletes, and providing treatment to assist with injury rehabilitation in a sport-specific training or competition setting such as on the playing field, court, change rooms, open or enclosed areas at sporting events, accommodation venues or in transit.

Prerequisites: There are no prerequisites for this course, prior knowledge of basic taping highly recommended.
Duration: 3 – 4 hours classroom training
Validity: Recommended renewal two years from date of completion.
