HLTAID001 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) provides the skills and knowledge required to perform CPR in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines. This course applies to all workers who may be required to provide CPR, in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.

Specific licensing /regulatory requirements relating to this competency, including requirements for refresher training should be obtained from the relevant national/state/territory Work Health and Safety Regulatory Authorities.

Prerequisites: There are no prerequisites for this course.
Duration: Face to Face Training: 3 hour course. Online Training: 2 hours of self-paced learning to be completed prior to 1 hour face to face assessment.
Validity: Legislative approval valid for 1 year from completion date.
