ASSIST First Aid is complying with Australian Governing Authorities regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. Our company has implemented our own safety precautions by limiting our class size and CPR manikin use, sterilisation before and after each class, and access to antibacterial hand gel. Upon arrival, all students will be asked if they have travelled in the last 14 days and ask to practice regular hand sanitation. If you are feeling unwell please reschedule your booking. HLTAID005 Provide First Aid in Remote Situations

PRICE: $180

HLTAID005 describes the skills and knowledge required to provide first aid response and emergency life support to a casualty in a remote and/or isolated situation.

The unit applies to workers who may be required to prepare for and provide a first aid response in locations beyond the reach of timely medical assistance. Specific licensing /regulatory requirements relating to this competency, including requirements for refresher training should be obtained from the relevant national/state/territory Work Health and Safety Regulatory Authorities.

Prerequisites: There are no prerequisites for this course
Duration: 8 hours classroom training, plus completed pre-course workbook.
Validity: Legislative approval valid for 3 years from completion date. Provide CPR unit recommended annual renewal from completion date.
