DESCRIPTION:HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (Blended) \n\nHLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation  is a nationally accredited unit that provides you with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform CPR in emergency situations. This critical training prepares participants to respond promptly and effectively to cardiac arrest incidents\, enabling life-saving interventions until professional medical help arrives. The unit encompasses all aspects of CPR administration\, including situation assessment\, performing chest compressions\, and delivering rescue breaths. \n\nCourse Requirements:\nTo ensure the best outcome for you\, the Australian Govt. requires that students undertaking nationally recognised courses have the learning skills or support they need to succeed. In line with this all students are now required to take a short LLND (Language\, Literacy\, Numeracy\, and Digital Literacy) self-assessment. Your answers are confidential and allow us to identify any support or reasonable adjustments you might need to complete the course.\n\nUnique Student Identifier: \nYour Unique Student Identifier (USI) is your individual education number for life. It also creates a Government authenticated record of your vocational education and training (VET) achievements.\nYou need a USI if you are a student studying nationally recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET). DESCRIPTION:Mental Health First Aid Course - Supporting Youth (YMHFA) - Face to Face \n\nLearn how to assist young people who are developing a mental health problem\, experiencing worsening of a mental health problem or in a mental health crisis. \n\nThe course covers the signs and symptoms of common mental health problems\, how to provide initial help\, what professional help is available\, effective help options (as shown by research) and first aid for a mental health crisis situations. It provides the knowledge and skills needed to feel confident to help.\n\nThe Youth Mental Health First Aid course is for adults working or living with young people (aged 12 to 18).\n \n\nCourse Requirements:\nCourse Prerequisites: There are no pre requisites required to do this course it is open to all adults (18 and over)\nUSI:  You do not need a USI to take this course\n\nNote: This is an evidence based eduction course designed to teach skills\, it is not a therapy or support group.
