Cortney is a Mental Health First Aid Master Trainer with decades of experience teaching in corporate and community settings.
A communications specialist with over 20 years national and international experience in management and communication roles. Cortney understands the particular health and wellbeing challenges faced in the corporate sector.
She is experienced in training workplaces, community groups and tertiary students, tailoring her teaching to the needs of the organisation or group. Course participants constantly note Cortney’s passion for improving knowledge of mental health and helping people create positive change in their communities and workplaces.
Cortney is an inclusive and engaging trainer who combines her knowledge and experience to create a supportive environment where learning is fun and participants succeed.
As well as multiple Communications Degrees, Cortney holds a Cert IV Workplace Trainer and Assessor qualification and is currently studying a Grad Cert in Counselling.

This course has been developed by Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Australia.
MHFA Australia is a national not-for-profit organisation focused on mental health training and research. Their core work is to develop MHFA courses, and train Instructors to deliver the courses to the community or in workplaces. MHFA courses are delivered across Australia and internationally.
Since its inception in 2000, Mental Health First Aid has evolved into a global movement across Australia and in over 27 countries. To date, over 4 million people worldwide have been trained, including over 900,000 Australians.
