As of the 1st January 2015, all students undertaking a nationally recognised training delivered by a registered training organisation are required to have a Unique Student Identifier number (USI). Just like a high school, tafe or uni number the courses you’ve done and results are linked to your number. You will need your USI number to complete your course and receive your certificate.

To get a USI number, find your USI number or read more visit www.usi.gov.au

To get a USI number, find your USI number or read more visit www.usi.gov.au

RTO means Registered Training Organisation. RTOs are registered by ASQA (the Australian Skills Quality Authority) to deliver VET (Vocational Education Training) services.

RTOs must comply to national rules and guidelines for their training, which means you get quality training that is nationally recognised.

Anyone providing nationally recognised training must either be an RTO or be a 3rd party partner of an RTO.

Potential students who wish to apply for RPL should contact our office so this can be arranged at the time of enrollment into a course. The documentary requirements needed when applying for RPL, include original copies of Certificates or Statements of Attainment showing the units/modules achieved and their currency.

Online Course Questions

On signup you will receive a link to the online training portal which contains the theory material. You can complete the  theory lesson and theory assessment at your own pace. Training courses include a combination of video from our experienced trainers, slides and supplementary reading.

You will also need to attend a practical session in person. You must complete your online theory lesson and assessment before this session.

Online learning is currently available for courses including CPR, First Aid and LVR.

You can see a list of what is available here.

Due to demand we are adding more online courses all the time, so be sure to check again when you are ready to book a course.

The Available Courses  and the Course Calendar pages list whether courses are face to face or online.

You can find the approximate time it will take you to complete the online theory and assessment in the course info for each course.  Times for the online learning are a guide only. You can complete the online learning as fast or slow as you like!

The course info also shows how long the face to face practical session is.

See course info here.

You can do the training at your own pace, wherever and whenever it suits you. As long as you complete it before the face to face assessment. The face to face assessment is much shorter than the full face to face course.

For online courses your theory assessment takes place online.

To maintain the quality of our training, practical assessments take place in person on the Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast or in Brisbane.

The theory material and theory assessment must be completed online, before your practical face to face session.

We believe the most important thing is that our customers are able to use their first aid training when the need arrises. So, if you start your online training and discover that you would like to switch over to a fully face to face course, for any reason, get in touch! We are happy to move over you to a fully face to face course. You will need to pay any difference in course costs.
